Pride Space CIC is home to PrideSpace Counselling Service, providing free and affordable therapeutic support to LGBTQ+ people in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and surrounding areas.
PrideSpace offers a limited number of volunteer student/trainee counsellor placements a year. We are looking for LGBTQ+ counsellors to work with our LGBTQ+ client base.
PrideSpace is staffed by a mixture of qualified, experienced counsellors and trainees registered with professional bodies.
Trainee counsellors are welcome to complete their required clinical practice hours with us as part of their qualification. In return, we offer clinical in-house group supervision, administrative support, mentorship, training opportunities, and a place within a vibrant and supportive community.
If you’re interested in joining us for a placement or volunteering your time, please read on to learn more.
